V1 Scope
BlurMyData V1 protects browser-page content only. It can help redact accessible page text and supported form fields in the active supported browser tab. Select Area can also manually blur a rectangular region inside a supported browser page when automatic detection does not cover a complex editor or custom page region.
It does not protect the whole desktop, native apps, browser chrome, operating-system notifications, other tabs, video pixels, canvas pixels, image pixels, restricted browser pages, or content the extension cannot access.
Privacy
BlurMyData V1 processes supported browser-page content locally in your browser. It does not upload page content, screenshots, detected values, or settings to a BlurMyData server.
